The 3rd Hanseatic League Conference will be held at Belgorod State University in 2022

Oleg Polukhin, BelSU Rector, Vladislav Kuchmisty, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Nicholas Tsybulia, the Head of International Cooperation Department representing Belgorod and Dick Pouwels, the President of Hanze University of Applied Sciences and Paul Hanzeboom, the Dean of Internationalization of Hanze University of Applied Sciences from thon the partner university side, participated in the work meeting held via videoconferencing.

While opening the meeting, Oleg Polukhin noted that during the past ten years there have been friendly relations between both universities, and the cooperation has only strengthened over the years: student academic exchange is developing, joint projects are implemented resulting in new approaches to education.

When discussing the 3^rd Hanseatic League Conference scheduled for 2022 the parties defined the subject and dates for the conference. The President of Hanze University of Applied Sciences Dick Pouwels supported the proposal of Oleg Polukhin to appoint the conference in early June stressing that he would be happy to personally participate in the discussion of the declared topic “Universities as Drivers of Regional Development”.
