The university gives presents to children

This is for the eighth time that the Centre for Intercultural Communication together with the international student communities organize a Christmas charity concert. The representatives of different continents and states, races and nationalities, cultures and confessions gathered at the Center that evening. The concert was prepared by international students of the university. Those attending the event were joined by distance learning students from their countries via videoconferencing.

Traditionally, the audience came to the concert with a toy. All the presents collected during the event have been given to the children treated at Onco-Hematology Department of Children's Regional Clinical Hospital, “St. Belogorye against Children's Cancer” Belgorod Region Public Organization and “Warm Heart” Belgorod Local Public Organization of Disabled Children. The participants of the event also had an opportunity to donate to Holy Belogorye against Children's Cancer Fund.

The event was attended by Svetlana Ostrikova, the Vice-Rector for Education and Youth Policy, curators of international student communities, BelSU Russian and international students, and representatives of charitable organisations.

Svetlana Ostrikova expressed gratitude to international students and associations tutors for organizing and conducting the Christmas charity concert. The concert programme included 15 acts prepared by the representatives of different countries studying at Belgorod State University.
