The participants of the School of Russian as a Foreign Language Teaching Methods outlined the prospects of joint international projects in the sphere of Russian language teaching abroad
The School of Russian as a Foreign Language Teaching Methods was finalized at Belgorod State University. The second enrollment for the advanced training program “Russian as a Foreign Language Teaching Methods: from Traditions to Innovations” brought together 65 teachers and professors from Bashkortostan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Olga Prokhorova, the Director of the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations of Belgorod State University congratulated the program trainees from partner universities on successful program completion. She noted the great experience of her colleagues in the field of the Russian as a foreign language teaching methods and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation between all the school participants.
The trainees were introduced to traditional approaches, methods and tools of teaching materials application at Russian as a foreign language classes, as well as new trends of Russian as a foreign language teaching methods, presented the overview of learning and teaching materials published by the teaching staff of the department. The participants attended master classes dedicated to software and Internet services application in Russian as a foreign language teaching, and received advice on the latest developments of the modern Russian language.
Olga Lyutova, the Head of the School of Russian as a Foreign Language Teaching Methods, announced the launch of a continuous advisory service in the question-and-answer mode.
At the end of the training the school participants and organisers defined the prospects for further collaboration including creation of interuniversity authors teams aimed at developing and publishing teaching and learning materials, scientific articles and monographs.
