A new youth association will be launched at Law Institute of Belgorod State University providing for information and analytical base of student ideas and projects.
Belgorod State University became a discussion platform for law students and representatives of student self-government bodies who met with Natalia Sudnikova, the Deputy Director for Social and Tutorial Work of BelSU Law Institute, and Irina Khmelevskaya, Master students of Law Institute and a member of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture of Youth Parliament at VII Belgorod Region Duma via videoconferencing.
The participants discussed the key features of the contemporary national education and science. They also covered the issues of employment of young professionals in Belgorod region and the main aspects of student relations with different institutions – universities, public and local authorities, public associations.
As a result of the event, it was decided to establish a student initiatives coordination center for at the premises of Law Institute. According to Irina Khmelevskaya, it will not only create an information and analytical base of student ideas and projects, but also help to increase the level of civic engagement of young people.
