The works by two BelSU students were marked in the “Essays and Sketches” nomination intorduced by the Academy of Popular Encyclopedia as part of the International Innovation Project “My Fatherland”.
A third-year student Ivan Podanev and a first-year student Natalia Pokrova became the winners of the international competition “There was a War...” in the “Essays and Sketches” nomination. Both students are studying at BelSU Engineering College.
Ivan Podanev presented his essay “Grandmother” at the competition. The student was marked with the first degree diploma for his work. Natalia Pokrova was awarded the II degree diploma. As Natalia noted, this competition was very important to her since the topic is the most vital today. The war theme has been and will be relevant for many years, because everyone needs to know and remember the deeds of their great-grandfathers.
The winning story by Ivan Podanev was published in the May issue of the university newspaper “Vesti BelGU”.
For reference use: The international competition “There was a War...” was held by the Academy of Popular Encyclopedia in three directions: research, creative work and methodical work. The aim of the event is to commemorate the Great Patriotic War and its immediate participants at the front and in the rear.
