International students of Belgorod State University awarded with the Gorchakov Fund grant

The VII International Youth Forum “Eurasia Global” was held in Orenburg and was attended by international students of Belgorod State University as well as Kadiri Sajid, the Chairman of the Board of International Student Associations and the Head of Afghanistan Student Community, and Ahmed Mansur, the Deputy Head of Arab Student Community.

The grant competition by Gorchakov Fund for Public Diplomacy Support was held as part of the forum. BelSU students defended their project on international student conference “Russia and the League of Arab States: Prospects of Cooperation in Education” in the context of the priority forum direction “International Cooperation in the Middle East and Africa”. The student conference aims to attract the attention of the public to possible arears of common interest in various activity fields, primarily in education. Also such events should increase interest not only in economics and geopolitics, but also in culture and history of the Arab world, promote intercultural dialogue between Arabs and Russians, provide impetus to development of intercultural and interdisciplinary relations. The conference will result in publication of the articles collection.
