Specialists and students of the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations of Belgorod State University were invited as interpreters to the Future Skills project by Belgorod Region Ministry of Education.
Belgorod Region co-organised the international training session on Future Skills competences for the BRICS countries. Due to the efforts of scientists and practitioners from different countries, such global problems as food and information security, development of digital technologies, crop yields boost, and a number of others can be solved. This international cooperation requires linguistic support. Thus, specialists and students of BelSU Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations were involved as interpreters of the Future Skills project at the invitation of the regional government.
The online support was ensured for the opening stage of the Agricultural Biotechnology qualification, one of the four programme directions, which additionally includes City Farming, Digital Farming and Information Systems Security of An Enterprise.
Linguistic support was provided by BelSU linguists – Associate Professor Tatiana Perutskaya and Associate Professor Elena Danilova with a team of senior students in Practice and Theory of Translation Marina Pokutnya, Ekaterina Kritskaya, Alexandra Ushakova, Alina Efimova, Ekaterina Gorlova, Valeria Ermolaeva and Sergey Berestnev.
Students of different years of study from Belarus, Kazakhstan, India, China, Ghana and other countries, accompanied by their instructors and supervisors, also participated in the training sessions.
