The Vice-Rector for Education and the Director of Digital Development Department at Belgorod State University participated in a panel discussion of the Digital Chairs project held at the Digital Innopolis Days Summer Camp in Kazan.
The Digital Innopolis Days Summer Camp was organised by Innopolis University, specialising in education, development and research in information technology, robotics and artificial intelligence. The event was dedicated to digital transformation in education.
The forum participants were welcomed by the representatives of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Centre for Sociological Research, ANO Digital Economy and Innopolis University. Nikolay Yatselenko, the Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, reminded the university representatives of the significance and key implementation stages of the Digital Chairs project. Vitaly Grishkin, the Director of the Department for Education Institutions Coordination, explained the project concept.
Alexander Mamatov, the Vice Rector for Education and Yuriy Banchuk, the Director of the university's Digital Development Department, took part in a panel discussion on the Digital Technology Project.
The forum participants discussed the key stages and specifics of implementing the Digital Chairs project, which will be implemented by the universities as part of their digital transformation by developing unique educational programmes.
During the second part of the discussion, the representatives of the national universities, including RANEPA, Kazan National Research Technological University, North Caucasus Federal University, N.I. Lobachevsky National Research University, Siberian State Medical University, Volgograd State Technical University and others, shared their experience and cases on implementing professional development programmes and advanced educational programmes in IT fields.
