Anastasia Grigorieva won a silver medal at the prestigious student tournament.
The final of the VIII All-Russian Summer Orienteering Student Games finished in Ulyanovsk. Over 80 athletes from different regions of the country participated in the first event of the cross-country sprint. The distance was laid directly across the city, which added to the fans’ appeal. The girls reached 22 check-points over 2.6 km distance.
According to the results of the sprint orienteering Anastasia Grigorieva, a student of BelSU Institute of Economics and Management, came second. She covered the distance in 18 minutes and 20 seconds. Anna Safronova from Tula State University won the gold medal.
