BelSU and Dezhou University enroll students to a joint institute for the first time

Belgorod Institute of Food Sciences is a joint project of the Belgorod State University and Dezhou University, which will provide Chinese students with the opportunity to study at 4 Bachelor degree programs leading to double diplomas.

The work on the joint institute establishing began in 2020. In April 2022 the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China approved its opening. The institute will be managed by both universities. It is planned to enroll plans to enroll 300 Chinese students for training annually.

“Today we are taking another big step in training specialists of international level which means providing conditions that will ensure economic development of our regions. I am confident that the joint project will increase the level of training and research work of Chinese students”, said Oleg Polukhin, the Rector Belgorod State University.

Belgorod Institute of Food Sciences will provide specialists training at such educational programs as “Chemistry”, “Biology, “Biotechnology” and “Product Technology and Catering Arrangement”. The training will last for 4 years and will be conducted by the lecturers of both Dezhou University and BelSU based on high-quality educational resources.

The first group of applicants has already been selected for enrollment and is preparing the necessary documents. The training will begin at both universities on 1^st October.
