The Center of Intercultural Communication in BelSU hosts a festival of national communities

Representatives of more than ten communities from Russia, China, Ecuador, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, India, Brazil, Jordan, Kazakhstan, and Moldova took part in the festival.

The participants were greeted by Ivan Konev, Deputy of the Belgorod Regional Duma, Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Victor Zakharov, Director of the Institute of Economics and Management, and Victor Sapryka, Head of the Department of Social Technologies and Public Service.

They noted that the strengthening of inter-regional, inter-ethnic cultural ties and the exchange of experiences in the implementation of the culture of good neighbourhood in the border regions are the key goals and objectives of the festival.

Representatives of foreign communities of NRU "BelSU" presented their exhibition displays and told the festival participants about their traditions, national features, introduced the history and culture of their peoples.

The guests of the event enjoyed bright performances of the artists of the folk group "Mila Lada" Grayvoron district directed by Ekaterina Alikhanova.
