A training center for the practice-oriented training of mining engineers has been established at Belgorod State National Research University.

The opening of the new educational center dedicated to the 146th anniversary of BelSU was attended by Oleg Polukhin, Professor and Rector of Belgorod State National Research University, Denis Golubnichy, General Director of Korpanga LLC (Yakovlevsky GOK), Ignat Ignatenko, Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences, Anastasia Chikisheva, Head of Communications Service of Korpanga LLC, students and teachers of the Institute.

Rector Oleg Polukhin accented that the training center will strengthen the relationship between the theoretical and practical training of young professionals, improve its quality in accordance with the requirements of the employer and the labor market.

Denis Golubnichy congratulated all those present at the 146th anniversary of “BelSU” National Research University and noted that for the second year in a row, new classrooms and educational spaces for students are being opened at the Institute of Earth Sciences.

Then Ignat Ignatenko, Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences, conducted a tour of the educational training center, which is located at a symbolic depth of "146 meters". Simulators are a unique component of the new center. This equipment is designed to simulate various situations that can be encountered in a real mine. Here students will be able to learn how to operate a self-propelled drilling rig, design the development and elaboration of deposits and mines, use mechanical and electronic mining equipment.

At the end of the event, students of respective fields of study at the Institute of Earth Sciences met Denis Golubnichy, General Director of Korpanga LLC. At the meeting, future specialists in the field of mining got acquainted with the activities of the mining and processing enterprise.
