Three BelSU students are among the finalists.
The finalists of the Russian National “Student of the Year 2022” Award for higher educational institutions and professional educational organizations were announced. Three students of Belgorod State University were named among the finalists in individual nominations.
Evgenia Kotareva, a student of the Department of Economics and Management of BelSU Branch in Stary Oskol, was awarded the “Chairman of the Student Council of the Year” title, David Shmatko, a student of Law Institute, became the finalist in the “Athlete of the Year” nomination, and Eduard Biryukov, a student of the Institute of Economics and Management, was awarded the “Creative Person of the Year” title.
The final competition, which will involve 1,000 young people, will be held on 11-17 December as part of the “Tvoy Khod – 2022” All-Russian Youth Forum – a key annual event for Russian students.
The “Tvoy Khod – 2022” forum will bring together over 5,000 participants in Moscow. The forum venue will become a platform for interaction between students, vice-rectors and rectors of higher education institutions from all over the country.
For reference: The “Student of the Year” Award is organized by the Russian Youth Union and supported by the ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunity” presidential platform. The main aim of the award is to support students with special achievements in science, creativity, sports, journalism, youth policy, student leadership, social activities and volunteering.
