A Young Researcher School in progress at Belgorod State University

A Young Researcher School, which is held as part of the project on “Transformation of Research Ecosystem for Training Highly Qualified Personnel at Belgorod State University” of the “Prioritet-2030” Program, brought together over 500 trainees, also from other universities.

From 15^th November till 22^nd December students will be involved in the new work formats – foresight sessions, training on team building and drafting an application portfolio for the “Young Leaders in Science” competition in scientific teams.

Prior to the practical sessions the participants learned about the key trends in the youth science, resources and opportunities for young scientists.

The participants were interested in the lectures made by Associate Professor Boris Tkhorikov, the Head of the Department of Management and Marketing of BelSU Institute of Economics and Management on the topic “Neurophysiology of A Presentation: How to Prepare A Comprehensible Report and Grip Attention of Scientific Conference Participants”); Associate Professor Olga Dekhnich, the Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations on the topic “Life After Publication: Why It Is Important to Promote your Research”, and Olga Gerasimenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing of the Institute of Economics and Management on the topic “Evaluation of Research Potential and Registration of A Business Model of A Scientific Idea”. The discussions following the lectures were intense – the participants actively asked questions and shared their views and ideas.

Those school participants, who demonstrated the utmost involvement in the sessions, will be awarded with electronic certificates.
