The team of Medical College of BelSU Medical Institute consisting of 24 students will participate in elementary military training for five days.
From 30 May till 22 July Belgorod region host traditional “Armata” military-historical training, bringing together schoolchildren, students of technical secondary schools and universities, as well as members of military-patriotic clubs of the region.
Students of Medical College participated in one of the camp sessions, based at a tent camp located on the territory of Novooskolsky Centre for Patriotic Education of Youth. Young people were involved in elementary military training, including physical, tactical, firearms training and marching drill, mastered first aid skills.
According to the group supervisor Pavel Lesnichiy, a lecturer of Medical College, the main goal of the sessions is to prepare boys for the army service. The training organisers are supported by the commanders of Valuysky troop unit, who also demonstrate the latest weapons and equipment to the trainees.
At the end of the military-historical session one platoon of 24 Medical college students were awarded with the Diploma “For Active Participation in “Armata” Military-Historical Training Camp”. The platoon commander Pavel Lesnichiy was awarded with the Diploma “For Personal Contribution to Patriotic Education of Youth”.
