BelSU students develop their professional skills through educational internships

Every year students of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business do an internship, aimed to solidify their lecture knowledge, master basic practical skills and abilities, acquire in-service experience, thus leading them to their future career.

The Crimean “Foros Park” and “Kazan Riviera” hotel and entertainment complex, being listed in the top ten hotels of Russia, are the key partners and internship sites that have been hosting BelSU students for many years.

According to Tatiana Klimova, the Head of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business, the choice of partners was not accidental.

The students learnt service standards, technological processes, reservation systems, specifics of divisions and services of the complexes, and also got a lot of impressions.

Tatiana Klimova also emphasised that the hospitality industry would undergo a large-scale “restart”, leading to changes in the approach to education and internships, among other things.
