A Law Institute student – a prize-winner of the VIII International Clinic Consultants Competition - 2023

This year International Clinic Consultants Competition was dedicated to “stateless status” and timed to the #iBelong campaign, which will last until 2024.

During three days 54 participants from four neighbouring countries and 27 Russian cities participated in a role-play game simulating a lawyer’s practice. BelSU was represented by the students of Law Institute - Anna Bolgova, Alina Vasilieva, Elizaveta Repina, Ivan Rogiz, the employees of University’s Legal Clinic.

The competition stages, including interviewing, case analysis and position statement, counselling, legal technique and judicial skills of the contestants, were evaluated by the experienced judges, also being legal practitioners. As a result of the trial, Anna Bolgova took the second place in the team, and her colleagues received certificates of participation.

According to Anna, the competition provided the participants with advanced practical skills of documents management and interaction with clients.
