The traditional international scientific forum “N. N. Strakhov's Legacy in Interdisciplinary Context: Philosophy, Anthropology, Science” was held by the universities of Belgorod and St. Petersburg.
Among the participants of the forum, organised by Herzen State Pedagogical University and Belgorod State University, were scientists from Belgorod, Moscow and St. Petersburg. The first part of the forum was held at the university in St. Petersburg. Many participants from other cities joined the event via videoconference. Belgorod State University was represented by Pavel Olkhov, Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Theology, and Ekaterina Chistyakova, Associate Professor of the department.
Pavel Olkhov presented the report on “Categorical Attitudes of N. N. Strakhov’s Scientific and Philosophical Thinking”. It should be noted that students of BelSU Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations participated in the conference offline. In addition, the Literary and Memorial Museum of F.M. Dostoevsky hosted a round table dedicate to the current issues of modern N.N. Strakhov's study. The scientific conference proceeded at BelSU.
The second part of the event was focused on the young scientists. Students presented reports dedicated to life and thinking of the famous researcher – “N.N. Strakhov’s Ideas of the Subject and Method of Psychological Science”, “N.N. Strakhov’s Portraits (Painting, Graphics, Speech Characteristics)”, “Esthete’s Homage: N.N. Strakhov’s Musical Preferences”.
