BelSU Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations celebrates the 10th anniversary

The event was attended by the institute’s lecturers, staff, students, guests and alumni of different years. Among the guests of honour there were labour veterans Nina Karnauhova, Tatiana Belousova, Lyudmila Dorokhina and partner institutions: Raisa Nortsova, the Director of Belgorod Gymnasium No.12, Bogdan Buzanov, the Head of the Department for Organisational Work of Belgorod Region Branch of United Russia Party, Lyudmila Mikhailova, the Director of “Mandarin” Chinese Language School, and Arsen Martirosyan, the Director of “Klyuchi” Translation Agency.

Alexey Chernitsov, the Acting Vice-Rector for Education, welcomed the audience. He congratulated the institute’s staff on the anniversary, noting the contribution of everyone to its educational, scientific and international activities, as well as for the dedication of the lecturers to their work.

Olga Prokhorova, the Director of the Institute, talked about the stories of students’ success, the prospects of education at the Institute and wished everyone new achievements in the future. She thanked the university administration for support, partners for their active involvement in education, labour veterans for their input in the institute’s foundation and development, and the alumni for promoting the Institute’s brand and staying in contact with their former teachers.

Many alumni from different parts of Russia and around the world sent their congratulations and words of gratitude to the teachers, noting their high professionalism, teaching skills and the atmosphere of warmth and support that surrounded them at the Institute during their studies.

The anniversary event was made unforgettably festive by the performance of “31 Region” vocal group at the Youth Cultural Centre.
