A delegation of BelSU Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology participated in the international conference on development of pharmaceutical industry, held meetings with the representatives of Russian and foreign universities and scientific institutions during their visit to Tashkent.
The main purpose of the visit to Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute by the representatives of BelSU Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology, headed by the Director Andrey Prisny, was participation in the annual international pharmaceutical conference “Current State of Pharmaceutical Industry: Challenges and Prospects”, participation in the ceremony of student cards delivery to the students of the international joint department of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute and Belgorod State University.
The IV International Pharmaceutical Conference, organised by TashPharmi jointly with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, brought together more than one hundred scientists from Uzbekistan, Russia, China, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Turkey, USA, Germany, India, the Ukraine.
The plenary session was attended by the leading scientists from Uzbekistan, St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University, Ege University (Turkey), Medical College of Hallim University (South Korea). The report on therapeutic systems by Natalia Avtina, the Associate Professor of BelSU Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, caused particular scientific interest and subsequent discussion.
The working programme of BelSU delegation continued with a number of meetings with the representatives of universities and scientific institutions of Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Thus, the top management of the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances (Tashkent) was interested in scientific cooperation with BelSU Botanical Garden. The talks with the management of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute were finalized with the agreement to launch joint scientific research and publications, as well as to develop Master and doctoral programmes.
During their visit to Tashkent Institute of Pharmacy, BelSU colleagues got acquainted with the activities of some departments of the partner university and the teaching staff, as well as held a seminar for the Institute’s students.
