The university’s Center for Arabic Language and Culture named after Mahmoud Darwish hosted a working meeting with the representatives of Russian House in Tunisia.
The meeting, which was held at Mahmoud Darwish Center for Arabic Language and Culture, was attended by the representatives of BelSU Department of International Cooperation, headed by Nikolai Tsibulya, and Russian House in Tunisia, headed by Yury Zaitsev, discussed the prospects of cooperation. The parties talked about student exchange and professional development of teachers of Russian as a foreign language, who work in secondary schools, universities and language centers of Tunisia.
Among the meeting participants there were Igor Matyushchenko, the leading specialist of Russian House, Daria Sushchenko, the Director of BelSU Centre for Education Export, and Ahmed Mansour, BelSU Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa, the Director of Mahmoud Darwish Center for Arabic Language and Culture.
The parties expressed their dedication to cooperation and hope for successful development of the partnership. Experience exchange in the field of Russian language teaching will help to improve the quality of education of foreign students in Tunisia.
