The competition aimed at creating comfortable living conditions for students from different parts of the world, allowed students of Preparatory Faculty to demonstrate how they make it feel cosy in their dormitory rooms.
Summing up the results of “My Home in Russia” competition and awarding the winners was held in “DobroTvorets” Volunteer Centre. After evaluating the contestants' rooms the expert jury awarded points for comfort and tidiness, as well as cleanliness of the bathroom. Special attention was paid to how the students organized their space in order to reflect individuality and create a feeling of home.
The awarding ceremony included presentation of the best rooms photos, which impressed the jury with original solutions.
According to the organisers, the competition not only helped to create cosy and hospitable atmosphere in the dormitory, but also became a good example of how important it is to support each other and create conditions for full adaptation and integration in a new country.
