A sports festival “Swifter, Higher, Stronger!” was held at BelSU Preparatory Department

The traditional holiday of the strong, fast and skillful was timed to coincide with the celebration of Fatherland Defender’s Day. The event was co-organized by the Department of Physical Education of Pedagogical Institute with the support of Trade Union Board of Belgorod State University.

Valery Timofeev, the Chairman of BelSU Trade Union Board congratulated the participants and wished them health, peace and goodness.

The contest jury included Svetlana Funikova, the Deputy Head for Welfare and Doscipline of Preparatory Department, and the department tutors – Natalia Girenko, Fatima Zokhraf, Ivan Sheenko.

The teams were supported by the students of Preparatory Department and the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations.

Each team masterfully passed the tests and lifted strength loads. According to the participants, most of all they liked “Basketball Ring” contest and the relay race.

The captains of the best teams thanked the event organizers, expressing hope for such meetings to be continued. The best athletes were presented with certificates and tasty awards.
