Students of Belgorod State University will participate in the academic mobility programme at Al-Istiqlal University

26 students of the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations of the first, second and third years of study joined the academic mobility programme at Al-Istiqlal University (Palestine) on distance. Students certified on completion of the Arabic language course will receive a diploma supplement.

“The Arabic language course is part of another programme aimed at ensuring conditions for multilateral cooperation between the university communities of both countries. We strive for a deeper mutual understanding through educational, outreach, training and cultural activities”, said Elena Nazarenko, the Head of “Facilitating Interaction between BelSUand Arab students” project implemented under “Prioritet-2030” Program. This project gave start to the academic mobility programme.

Dr. Mohammed Hassan Najajra, the Director of S.Yesenin Centre for Russian Language and Culture at Al-Istiqlal University, expressed hope that in autumn 2024 the program graduates would personally visit Jericho (Palestine) in order to improve their Arabic language skills and expand their linguistic and cultural knowledge.
