BelSU graduate wins international tournament

In Krasnoyarsk at the arena “Kristall” the international tournament on strongman Siberian Pro Show 2024, in which the strongest athletes from Russia, France, Iran, South Africa, Poland and Brazil took part, came to an end.

The program of the competition included a deadlift, a relay consisting of carrying a 100 kg log on the shoulder, followed by transporting a 160 kg log, continuing with lifting 175 kg steps of strength, and then carrying a 340 kg well for 20+20 meters. Additionally, it encompassed the transportation of Atlas stones weighing between 160 and 220 kg, the overhead log lift (160 kg) or executing a set number of repetitions (180 kg), as well as the task of carrying a natural stone weighing 165 kg on the shoulder.

As a result of the competition, David Shamei, a graduate of BelSU, became the absolute winner of the tournament, leaving behind a sportsman from Omsk and a representative of Iran.
