International students of Belgorod State University continue to get acquainted with the Belgorod Region

Students from such countries as Angola, Ghana, Iraq, Cameroon, Congo, Peru, Senegal, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Ecuador joined the educational excursion "Great People of Belgorod Region. Mikhail Semyonovich Shchepkin".

During the trip, supported by ANCO "Preobrazheniye", the head of the Peoples' Friendship Center Olga Lyutova introduced new Russian words to the students, told about the period in which Shchepkin lived and its features, the peculiarities of the administrative-territorial and state structure.

And to make the excursion to the Shchepkin Museum more exciting and productive, all participants were given different tasks: to collect a puzzle "Shchepkin's roles, plays, friends-writers", to solve the crossword puzzle "Cities of Shchepkin", to find and make a photo of exposition items in the halls of the museum or items related to individual episodes of life and work of the great actor, and then post on social media with the hashtags #ЦДН_везет(#PFS_bring) и #ЦДН_узнаютур (#PFS_knowduringthetour).

The participants of the event received letters-keys for performing the tasks correctly, and in the final stage they formed the names of two cities that played an important role in the life of our great citizen. The students who were the first to complete the excursion game received memorable prizes from the Peoples' Friendship Center.

According to Olga Lyutova, the excursion-educational events, organized by the National Research University "BelSU" together with the ANCO "Preobrazheniye", will continue.
