Vladislav Kuchmisty met with representatives of partner organizations and graduates of Belgorod State University of different years.
Within the framework of the trip to Luanda, the capital of the Republic of Angola, Vladislav Kuchmisty, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the National Research University "BelSU", visited the capital of the Republic of Angola. He visited the secondary school at the Russian Embassy in Angola. He also met with the director of the educational institution Anatoly Lysenko and made a speech to the students. He told the high-school students about Belgorod State University and invited them to enroll in our university upon graduation.
Vladislav Kuchmisty also visited Agostinho Neto University, where he conducted negotiations on cooperation and met with students of the Faculty of Law. As a matter of priority it is planned to open the Center of Russian Language and Culture at Agostinho Neto University for all those who wish to study Russian language and get aware of the culture of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
- Taking into account the growing popularity of Russian education among the citizens of the Republic of Angola, I see great prospects both for increasing the number of students and for joint academic projects with partner universities of Angola, - Vladislav Kuchmisty emphasized.
During the visit the Vice-Rector had a chance to communicate with the graduates of BelSU from Angola, they shared some warm memories of their studies and mentioned that they consider their successes in their careers to be largely due to the Russian education. The participants of the meeting expressed their desire to keep in touch with their alma mater in the future.
For the record: BelSU has been providing education to foreign students from the Republic of Angola since 2005. For the last five years 38 citizens of Angola have graduated from the university. Currently, 27 representatives of this South African state are studying at the university.
