Anna Tishkina took first place with her essay “The prospects for social and cultural interaction of the BRICS countries”.
The winners of the philosophical essay competition “Vision 2050 – BRICS People 2050 – How BRICS will change the world by 2050” were revealed during a ceremony in Moscow, chosen to host the 9th BRICS Civil Forum. The essay ranked first, Prospects for social and cultural interactions of the BRICS countries, was authored by Anna Tishkina, a postgraduate student from the BelSU Institute of Economics and Management
As noted by the chairman of the jury, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the HSE University Felix Azhimov, what the participants had as a task was to propose measures to achieve the goal stated in the competition’s theme, to outline the agenda for a fair and equal development, and to trace landmarks that indicate progress towards a multipolar world.
Anna Tishkina was also featured as a speaker at the IX BRICS Civil Forum’s session with the same name. She discussed the prospects for the Association member countries with the session’s key speakers: Hero of the Russian Federation, Roscosmos State Corporation’s Executive Director for the Manned Space Programs Sergei Krikalev, Anna Kuznetsova – Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Keshav Parade – Secretary General of the Self-Employed Women Association of India, and others.
