BelSU Faculty of Psychology Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The festive gathering brought together faculty members, current students, alumni, administrative representatives, and social partners of the university. Victoria Tarabaeva, the director of the Pedagogical Institute, addressed both this year’s graduates and alumni from previous years, offering heartfelt congratulations.

“The faculty can rightfully take pride in its rich history, cherished traditions, exceptional teaching staff, innovative training programs, outstanding practical training facilities, and, of course, its graduates. It is you who continue to write our history. Wishing you all creative success and good luck!” Tarabaeva remarked.

Joining her in congratulating the graduates were Igor Kucheravenko, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology; Dmitry Sazonov, Director of the BelSU Personnel Development Department; Valentina Grebneva, Head of the Department of Psychology and former Dean (2018-2023); and Alexey Kovtunenko, Dean of the Faculty of Preschool, Primary and Special Education.

Social partners also extended their congratulations. Ekaterina Viktorova, Chief of counsel Educational Psychologist of the Belgorod Region’s education system, and Elena Danilyuk, Chief of counsel Medical Psychologist of the Ministry of Health for the Belgorod Region, highlighted the high level of professional training among graduates and their strong demand in today’s labour market.

During the gala event, diplomas were awarded to 77 graduates, 19 of whom graduated with honours. Notably, some graduates symbolically defended their final theses on February 7, the very day the faculty was established. Additionally, graduates received certificates and membership cards for the Belgorod State University Alumni Association, while their parents were presented with letters of gratitude.
