BelSU Preparatory Department Hosts Conference on Medical Innovations

The annual “Modern Problems of Medicine” conference was held at the Preparatory Department of Belgorod National Research University (BelSU), organized as part of the International Intellectual Students’ Club (MICS). This event attracted students eager to not only acquire new knowledge but also to shape the trends of tomorrow’s medical field.

Students from the preparatory department presented reports on various current scientific topics. Key discussions included groundbreaking methods in laser medicine, innovative approaches to vision correction, and the potential use of 3D printing for creating biocompatible implants. Each presentation resembled a mini-study, showcasing the authors' deep understanding of the material and their ability to critically assess contemporary challenges in the industry.

“The quality of the presentations and the ensuing discussions were truly impressive. The students did not merely recite information; they analyzed, debated, and proposed solutions. This reflects their high level of professional maturity and genuine passion for medicine,” remarked Larisa Boeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language, Professional Speech, and Intercultural Communication.
