The summer season concluded with an exciting mini-football tournament at the Svetlana Khorkina Sports Complex, where four teams of students and teachers showcased their skills on the field.
Vladimir Rudenko, Head of the Department for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports, highlighted the growing tradition of this event.
“This tournament aims to enhance the sports skills of participants while promoting mini-football among students, faculty, and staff at the university,” Rudenko explained.
In a thrilling match for third place, the Lions team from Belgorod National Research University (BelSU) triumphed over the BelSU Engineering College students with a score of 5-3.
The championship match was equally intense, as the BelSU student team faced off against their university teachers. In a nail-biting finish, the students secured victory with a narrow 2-1 win.
