The results of these projects will be implemented at Municipal Secondary School No. 4 in the Alekseevka Urban District, which serves as a key site for the practice-oriented training of BelSU pedagogy students.
The Higher School of Pedagogy at Belgorod National Research University (BelSU) is making significant strides in developing practice-oriented educational and methodological projects. These initiatives are designed to enrich the learning experience for students and enhance their teaching skills.
After completing their first year, students from the Higher School of Pedagogy proudly showcased their project outcomes, which were developed with the collaboration of their dedicated teachers.
Among the notable contributions was that of Associate Professor Elena Shirina from the Department of Russian Language and Russian Literature, who created engaging didactic materials for fifth-grade literature lessons focused on “Smaller Genres of Folklore” and “Fairy Tales.” Irina Denisova, also an Associate Professor in the Department of General History, designed an interactive map highlighting the region’s museums, providing a visually engaging way for students to explore local history. Meanwhile, Professor at the Department of General History Nikolay Bolgov and his colleague, teaching assistant Vyacheslav Likhosherstov developed illustrative cards featuring animated and interactive elements for lessons on Ancient World history. Additionally, Vladislav Morshchinsky, another Associate Professor from the Department of Russian Language and Russian Literature, prepared a captivating collection of essays exploring film adaptations of significant Renaissance works. Ekaterina Yakimova, an Associate Professor from the same department, created an interactive poster aimed at enhancing vocabulary learning in Russian language classes.
These innovative projects will play a crucial role in lessons at Secondary School No. 4, where BelSU pedagogy students will gain valuable hands-on experience. The opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge and methodological techniques in real classroom settings is essential for nurturing future educators.
“Participating in these events provides invaluable insights into effective student engagement and helps us develop into real teachers,” shared Vladislav Tishchenko, a student at the Higher School of Pedagogy.
