More than 60 final-year projects from across Russia were entered in the International Competition of Graduation Theses using 1C software, part of the Digital Department project.
Belgorod National Research University (BelSU) graduates and faculty made an impressive showing in the competition, which aims to enhance the quality of training for young professionals, bolster the role of educational institutions in student career guidance, and prepare specialists for the digital economy.
Ilya Orekhov, a graduate of the BelSU Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies, secured third place in the “Best Solution on the 1C:Enterprise Platform” category with his project, “Development of a Travel Agency Information System.” Ilya’s internship supervisor from the partner company, Vadim Zayats, was recognized with a diploma in the “Internship Management” category. Additionally, Ilya’s thesis supervisor, Olga Pusnaya, a lecturer in the BelSU Department of Applied Informatics and Information Technology, received a diploma in the “Best Solution on the 1C:Enterprise Platform” category. Svetlana Gul, a senior lecturer at the BelSU Institute of Information and Computer Technologies, won the “Efficiency of a Professional Retraining Program” category. Vladimir Lomakin, head of the Digital Department at BelSU, acknowledged the significant contribution of the university’s partner, Tsyfrovoy Vybor LLC, and Olga Pusnaya in achieving the outstanding results in the competition.
