On Higher Education Teachers’ Day, Belgorod National Research University held its annual “Administrator for the Day” event, allowing students who excelled in a competitive selection process to step into the roles of rector, vice rectors, and institute directors.
This marks the third year Belgorod National Research University (BelSU) has celebrated this unique event.
The festive morning kicked off with an introduction of the students with their mentors. Dmitry Sergeev, a second-year student from the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies, assumed the role of BelSU Rector Evgeniya Karlovskaya for the day. Other students took on specialized vice-rector roles, including Veronika Bychkova, Diana Miroshnichenko and Loayza Solorzano from the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations, who took helm as Vice-Rector for Educational Activities Aleksey Chernitsov, Vice-Rector for Administrative Work Vladimir Gerashchenko and BelSU Vice-Rector and Director of the International Cooperation Department Nikolay Tsybulya. Students from the BelSU Institute of Law Victoria Dobudko, Maxim Shepelev, Eseniya Shepel, Kirill Koliukh, Anastasia Alexandrovskaya and Dariya Dobrovolskaya served as alternates for Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy Elena Malyshkina and Vice-Rector for Comprehensive Security and Property Complex Development Dmitri Krupkin, Vice-Rector for Science-Intensive Production Development Ignat Ignatenko, Vice-Rector for Economics and Finance Marina Minina, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and Innovations Elena Skripnikova and Vice-Rector and Director of the Department for Development of Educational and Career Trajectories Alexander Galtsev, while students from the BelSU Institute of Economics and Management Egor Dubenko and Julia Khalday took helm as Vice-Rector for Digitalization Boris Inanchikhin and Vice-Rector and Director of the Department of Continuous Professional Education Maxim Semibratsky. 11 more students performed as directors of various BelSU institutes and colleges.
