Maria Churnosova won the Biology and Genetics section.
The All-Russian Conference with International Participation, Current Problems of Biomedicine-2026, was held in St. Petersburg at the Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University. Fourth-year General Medicine student Maria Churnosova presented a scientific paper in the Biology and Genetics section. She discussed some of the clinical, anamnestic, and genetic characteristics of pregnant women with preeclampsia.
Following her presentation, she was awarded first place and a first-degree diploma.
Maria admitted that the conference left a positive impression, as it was a wonderful opportunity to look at her work from a different perspective, participate in the discussion, and improve her research.
“The speakers’ presentations were very informative and filled with relevant information about the contribution of genetic factors to the etiology and pathogenesis of many diseases, as well as new diagnostic methods,” she noted.
