Future lawyers from the Law Institute shine at prestigious “Science, Creativity, Spirituality” Competition.
Maksim Doronin and Sofya Tsybina, both from the Law Institute of Belgorod National Research University (BelSU), have won the Law programme category at the 52nd All‑Russian correspondence competition of student research, invention and creative work titled Science, Creativity, Spirituality. The competition is organised by the Integration National System.
Doronin, a fourth‑year student, researched the legislative regulation of the search for individuals evading criminal penalties, taking into account national and international legal aspects. His supervisor was Alexandros Pasenov, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and a PhD in Law.
Tsybina, also a fourth‑year student, focused her research on the classification and proof of killing a person in the heat of passion. Her supervisor was Anzhelika Lyakhova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure and a PhD in Law.
“The symbiosis of scientific, creative and legal components, as well as the value component, is a highly interesting and promising direction, which I plan to develop further in my future research,” shared Doronin.
For reference: The competition is included in the list of events eligible for grants from the President of the Russian Federation. Its main goal is to engage young people in creative, cognitive and intellectual initiatives, encouraging them to participate in research, invention and other creative activities across various fields of science, technology and culture.| << Back to the list |
