BelSU students have claimed top honours at Russia's premier cheerleading competition.
Belgorod National Research University (BelSU) students have claimed gold and silver medals at the All-Russian Cheerleading Competitions, held in Moscow alongside the Russian Cheerleading Championships and Junior Championships. The event brought together more than 10,000 athletes from 49 regions, showcasing the country’s strongest talent over several days of intense competition.
Rising to the top, Olga Nelyubova and Alina Sikacheva, both students of the Faculty of Physical Education at BelSU’s Pedagogical Institute, took first place in the “Cheer Jazz Doubles” category. The pair’s success was echoed in the group events, where the Belgorod Region team – made up of Alina Sikacheva, Anzhelika Davydova and Olga Nelyubova – secured silver in the “Cheer Jazz Group” category.
