Dear friends!

With all my heart I congratulate you with The Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new academic year!

I’m sure that this year will bring new ideas, bold experiments, constant research and creativity to all our cohesive team.

Today, more than 5 500 freshmen joined our academic family. They can be justifiably proud of their enrollment into the once of the prestigious classic universities of Russia. The next year we will celebrate 140^th anniversary of the university. Its history is a story of thousands of people devoted to science, who contributed a lot into the university’s development.  

The university nowadays includes dozens of innovational projects in science and education, powerful material and technical basis, and, above all that, great human potential: our scientists, talented students and postgraduates, our sportsmen and sportswomen and performance groups, who has gained renown even in other regions and abroad.      

Dear friends! Let this year be a bound forward for you! I wish happiness, prosperity and inspiration to all of you!
