The university is going to hold the first All-Russian student sports festival

BNRU will host GTO Festival in December 2018. The first All-Russian student GTO festival was discussed by the rector of BNRU, Professor Oleg Polukhin, Executive Director of the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia Vyacheslav Morozov, Deputy Executive Director of ASSC of Russia for projects and programs implementation Ildar Kharisov, project and programs managaer of the ASSC of Russia Renat Mingaleev, head of the general issues section of the department for the implementation of GTO program “Directorate for Sport and Social Projects” Pavel Kosarev, head of the department of physical culture and sports of the Belgorod region Oleg Serdyukov, as well as representatives of the administration of BNRU.

Organizational support for the university will be provided by the ASSC of Russia and the Federal operator of the GTO program. The festival will be held within the framework of the all-Russian youth project on involving students in the preparation and implementation of GTO tests. BNRU has considerable experience in holding major competitions: the university hosted the final of the club tournament of the universities of the Central Federal District, where students competed in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis and chess. In 2017, the university hosted the all-Russian final of the ASSC volleyball championship.
