The interuniversity youth forum held at BelSU brought together students from over 20 countries
The students from BelSU, Belgorod State Academy of Arts and Culture, Higher School of Economics, Higher School of Journalism and Mass Communications of St. Petersburg State University participated the Youth Multi-University Forum dedicated to International Student Day and International Day of Tolerance.
The forum participants discussed the relevant issues related to prevention and counteraction to extremism, terrorism, racism, nationalism, and other destructive phenomena; minimization of the negative impact of society digitalization, multicultural environment, its complexity and advantages.
The Center for Intercultural Communication of Belgorod State University became the venue of the event. University participants joined the forum via videoconferencing and international students had an opportunity to record and post their video reports and presentations as the round table proceedings. Among the forum participants were students and lecturers from Russia, Angola, Vietnam, Haiti, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, China, Colombia, Cote d'Ivoire, Peru, Syria, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Chad, Ecuador.
Archpriest Fyodor Sikurinets, the Head of the Department for Work with Youth of Gubkin Diocese emphasized that the multi-university youth forum is an excellent platform for dialogue between representatives of different countries on the most acute and important issues of the present.
