Topical problems of pedagogical science faced in preparing qualified staff in the era of digitalization of education were discussed at the International Research-to-Practice Conference at Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The conference was attended by university and college professors, secondary school teachers from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
At the plenary session lectures were made by BelSU scientists –Ilya Isaev, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Natalia Shehovskaya, the Head of the Department of Pedagogy. The speakers talked about the technologies and tools of a teacher’s professional and pedagogical culture development in the context of digitalization of the modern educational process, as well as discussed the problems related to development of creative potential of the future professionals in teamwork.
“In the present conditions a competitive potential of a teacher assumes not only special knowledge, information awareness, mastered educational technologies, but also professional and pedagogical culture, providing personal and professional development, ability to create and impart values. That is why any reformation or modernization of a higher education system should first and foremost concern a university teacher, a secondary school teacher and a scientist as holders of the scientific knowledge and cultural and pedagogical heritage of the society”, Ilya Isaev said.
Being an alumnus and an Ambassador of Belgorod State University Dilnoz Ruzieva, a Professor at the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a Member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education, delivered a report on “Education in the World of Digital Technologies: Priority Directions” at the conference.
Cooperation between Pedagogical Institute of Belgorod State University and Nizami TPU has been successfully developing in the recent years: joint conferences are held, lectures are delivered for Uzbek students by the lecturers of Pedagogical Institute, joint research papers are published, both parties participate in PhD thesis defense as opponents and provide methodological support.
