17 January 2014 Olympic Flame Arrive at BelSU
In the build up to the start of 2014 Winter Olympics Olympic flame is making its journey from Olympia to Sochi. BelSU students, faculty and administrative staff members were proud to welcome it in Belgorod and at our University.

Eight faculty members of BelSU Institute of Law have successfully completed the course of Fundamentals of Mediation in the University’s Centre for Mediation.

According to announced International University Rating for CIS, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia announced, Belgorod State National Research University is ranked 40th.

30 December 2013 Study Placement in Germany
Olga Lukianova, a first year post-graduate student of Engineering and Physics Department (with specialization in Condensed Matter Physics), an engineer working for the Centre of Structural Ceramics and Engineer Prototyping, has successfully completed a two-month study placement in the Advanced Ceramics Group at the University of Bremen (Germany).  

21 December 2013 Focus on the German Language
A roundtable gathered together the faculty, students, and representatives of the Robert Bosch Foundation and The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) from Austria and Germany at the BelSU Institute of Pedagogy’s Department of Foreign Languages. The discussed the status of the German languages in Russian educational institutions.  

17 December 2013 A BelSU Alum Wins a National Award
Alexander Shibaev, the BelSU Department of Pedagogy graduate (qualified in Pedagogy and Primary Education Methodology), was awarded with National Honor of Russian Federation. He was chosen in the nomination of “Education of the Soul”.

10 December 2013 The interest to the ethnic culture
The students of Belgorod State University became diploma winners of the research paper competition, which was devoted to the ethnic history and culture of Belgorod district.

27 November 2013 Russia, the Netherlands to Keep High Pace in Cooperation
The delegation fr om BelSU, headed by Rector Oleg Polukhin, participated in celebration event in honor of Hanze University of Applied Sciences 215th Anniversary, wh ere the both Universities’ representatives agreed on continuation of close cooperation between BelSU and Hanze University.
